Three randomised controlled trials have been undertaken in Africa showing a reduction of 50% of HIV acquisition in the circumcised group. The UNAIDS/WHO has adviced adult circumcision as a prevention strategy. More and more voices are being heard, who demand infant circumcision as a prevention of HIV.
I would be interested to hear an integral approach to this complex issue of HIV prevention.
